DETROIT, Michigan (AP) -- A biologist has confirmed the sighting of a real Michigan wolverine, about 200 years after the species was last seen in the state that uses the small but ferocious animal as its unofficial nickname.

ALways good news when a species that has been missing from an area returns. Hopefully there will be more than just this one show up.

How cool would it be to see a wolverine when I do my summer practicum (basically field camp for forestry and natural rescourses department students in my school)? XD It's great to hear that wolverines are returning to their natural habitat! Michigan residents watch out!

Wolverines are scary! 6_9 But I'm glad they're returning to their habitat. It's always a good sign when animals return to their natural ranges. :)

Wow, it's great that they're finally coming back here. Now I'll go follow SL's advice about watching out and hide in my room with a baseball bat. XD

to bad we don't have wolverines

A fact is a simple statement that everyone believes. It is innocent, unless found guilty. A hypothesis is a novel suggestion that no one wants to believe. It is guilty, until found effective.
