Hello All

I hope I am doing this right and not doing something wrong. If I am, my sincere apologies. This is all very new to me. This is the first time I have ever joined a group like this (and I have signed up on several other Zoo Tycoon sites, as well) and am just sort of feeling my way along at this point. I would like to work on figuring out signatures too! <G> Some of you have some really neat ones.

My grandson received Zoo Tycoon for his birthday and one day talked me into playing with him. Now I am as hooked as he is and he has me constantly surfing for new screenshots we can try and objects to download. The downloading part I am still messing up a lot. My son tried to show me how to do it, but it doesn't go well all the time.

I just wanted to say TWIMC (to whom it may concern) that I love surfing these sites and finding new and fun objects to add to our zoos. Our favorites are making the Arctic ones. We recently made what we think is an excellent "Cat" Exhibit and as soon as I gather my courage and knowledge a bit, would love to try to submit it for other's opinions.

Nice to meet you all.

Zoo Mimi (Pam)

Welcome aboard ZKLounge, Zoo Mimi! :D You are doing nothing wrong. You have your topic in the right place if that's what you mean. We're really glad to see 'older' members returning and new ones entering.

If you're having trouble with downloads, are you extracting them to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon? I don't if that works for everyone, but it works for me.

BTW, wonderful intro! :))

Welcome to the Lounge, Mimi! We are happy to have you and will assist you with the downloads and any other questions you have as best we can. :)

You can insert a signature by clicking on "my controls" near the top of this window and then clicking "edit signature" in the menu on the left.

If you want to place an image in your signature, you may do so by typing

Code: Select all

and then pasting the url (web address) of the image you want between the tags, like this:

Code: Select all

There are literally hundreds of downloads on this site, and all of them should be easy to obtain. If you have any questions about the downloads or need help using them after you've acquired them, try searching the TECHNICAL SUPPORT forum. If you can't find your answers there, feel free to post a question in that forum and someone will help you out!

Have a great time at ZKL! :))

(Monkey - how kewl is that! - my favorite --- next to a gorilla <G>)

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome. I am sure I will be bugging someone sooner or later. I have pretty much mastered the downloading... it is getting it going after that where I sometimes run into problems. Some I put in the right file and some I don't. LOL

I look forward to getting to know a lot of you.
