Hey all. I know it's been a while since I posted anything on ZKL but I hope to become more active now. I've missed you all too much!

I don't have Zoo Tycoon 2 (yet...) so I won't be able to say much about it. I did have a short go round a friend's house and it looked awesome (although more animals would be better) so I may get it sometime. And that's only if I feel my computer will behave itself enough to run it... :grumpy:

But... still, I shall hopefully be posting around all other aspects of ZKL at least!

Nice to see you all again!

:D

P.S. By the way, how's the forum been? Has it become more active since the release of Zoo Tycoon 2? Has anything happened while I was gone? :)

Welcome back, Miss Politeness! :))

The site has a little bit of ZT2 activity, but not as much as the ZT1 early days or the ZT2 activity at other sites. I think a lot of people do not even check the site every day, including mods. But I do. Even though I don't often respond to posts, I enjoy reading about the lifes of others. (Congratulations on your mock GCSEs, by the way.) So I'm looking forward to seeing more of your posts.

As for "anything happening", everyone has different tastes and preferences. I'm still a ZT1 download junkie and my heart is still filled with :luv: for ZKL as well. So the best highlight for me is the Zookeeper's Lounge building for ZT1, created by yellowrose.

As for ZT2, it is hard to say which computers will behave. Since you have a friend with ZT2, you can borrow their ZT2 when you are ready to purchase ZT2 on your own. Then you can attempt to install their copy on your machine to see if it will even install. (The install checks the computer for minimum requirements.) If it installs, you can run it for a very short time to make sure your computer behaves itself with the graphics and mouse handling. Then uninstall it. (But do not wait too long to uninstall. Sometimes uninstalls get confused if other things have happened in the meantime.) If everything works, then you can be confident in your ZT2 purchase.

Again, nice to hear from you! :))

welcome back

A fact is a simple statement that everyone believes. It is innocent, unless found guilty. A hypothesis is a novel suggestion that no one wants to believe. It is guilty, until found effective.

Thanks guys! Hmm, it's a shame the site's still a bit... dead... but I'm still going to be around anyway. I'm intrigued to know what that Tales from the Lounge thing is all about lol ??? :D
