how big is he? he must look...interesting
Yes..he does look interesting.he has a small balck patch on hisleft eye, and aroung his right its pink! EVERYONE loves his ears, they arn't JR but not SB either, but their covered with spots :P He's got a wiry coat and the saint B curly tail.
He's about 2ft tall at the shoulder.
Is that even possible, for a Jack Russel and a St. Bernard to breed? I would think one would be....erm....crushed in the process.
 .... I think they used.....um.....artificial ..help
Do any of you have a pound pet? Blue is a pound pet.. and the first thing dad saw when he saw him was "He's got big paws"

he did get very lazy has last 4 years or so and his last 6 months or so he was deaf and one day i guess my friends dad came home and the dog had just layed down and couldnt get up or walk anymore so he was put to sleep :( someone my mom worked with had a dog that lived to be 20! when it quit walking they brought food to it and carried it outside to relieve itself and just tried to keep it alive as long as they could because they couldnt bring themselves to put it down

actually you have them in 3 different colors:
1. black and tan
2. blond (like mine is)
3. black

And yes they are really good watchdogs, my dog is barking for the smallest sound she can hear. It's sad though that she doesn't really like other dogs but she is very loyal to me and that's all that matters.

That's neat...the only pictures I found on the web were the black & tan ones. I bet she is quite pretty then, if she's blonde (of course blondes always have more fun, we know that)!

That's really sad about that fish, Okapi. I don't wish that kind of sickness on any animal.

I bet that Australian Shepherd/Border Collie you've got is one huge ball of energy, Crocs. Both breeds are highly energetic.....I can only imagine what mixing them up would do!!!

ive always wanted an aussie shepard but for now im not allowed to have dogs (unless i buy a fence for our yard but at the moment im thinking more towards a car) because the first 2 dogs i had didnt work out (first was an insane monster that nearly killed my brother (and was put to sleep when we couldnt find it a good home without small children) and the second got loose and got hit by a car :( )

yeah, choosing the right dog can be really difficult. It took me 4 years to decide but in the end I think I've made the right choice

this afternoon there was a good bit of entertainment in my backyard
we had a couple of visiting squirrels and a cat that I've never seen before
my older cat normally just lays around but he did have a little fun chasing the squirrels (but he's much to big and slow to acctually catch one  ) and our younger cat defended her territory against the intruding cat
lots of entertainment for one afternoon

Hm, lets see... I have a cat, a Manx/Japanese... something... cross. Named... guess what! Manx... real inventive eh? He's awesomely cute though! I don't have a picture of him, but he's silver tabby colored, with a white underbelly and chest, and white paws. Oh, and he has a little stubbed tail!
He's two years old, and fully grown, but he's only about seven inches tall at the shoulder! A little guy.
I had a Black Lab, but he died a year ago November 2004. Buster was his name. RIP to Bucky.
I miss him dearly, as he was ten when he died. I was sick with pneumonia when I was four, and the day I came home from the hospital, this adorable little ball of black fur greeted me at the door. It was, of course, BUSTER! YAY!
He got some sort of spinal cancer or something, and his rear end failed. So we had him put down. But all the way to the end he was still just as happy and playful as ever, even though his hind legs were unstable.
Thanks for the memories Bucky! :luv:

My girlfriend has a black lab that is starting to show signs of that spinal disease. Kinda funny when it tries to run across a wooden floor and ends up splayed out everywhere.
I still have my one Himalayan cat. She's 15 now and hasn't slowed a bit.

I saw a show on Animal Planet talking about how skunks have become a big pet. Apparently, its legal to own one as long as it is descented. I was curious if anyone has ever had one or considered getting one. I think it would be neta to have a skunk as a pet.
