My favorite zoo is the Fort Wayne Zoo. It's packed with all sorts of animals. FWZoo is the closest to me, so it's loads better when it comes to traveling. Right now we are building a special aquatic area for reef fish, sharks, crustaceans, and invertebrates. I haven't been to the zoo in a while, so I'm not sure whether or not they have completed that area yet.
We are home to the last Tasmanian Devil outside of Tasmania. It's an elder male who is teetering on life's edge. Thankfully the zoo is taking great care of him.
This zoo is much better than the Indianapolis Zoo in my opinion. Sorry, Blue.

We have a colossal walk-through rainforest dome that is home to some of the world's rarest butterflies and rainforest-inhabited birds. The rainforest area is built inside a huge enclosed dome which is attached to other indoor areas of the zoo. Bridges in the rainforest dome are built upon rushing creeks, occupied with fish of all sorts. The foliage is so tall, you must crane your neck to see up to practically any tree or smaller plant. It's amazing.
I love this zoo so much. It takes great, great care of all its animals, and if anything, the staff is so nice and concentrated on their work.
