In almost all of my dino exhibits, the zookeeper option tells me only that there is too much of some terrain, but doesn't recommend the right stuff. Only seems to be a problem with the terrain...the foliage/rocks/shelters, etc still work right. Is something messed up, or what? Help, my critters are frustrated (as am I).

I assume you are referring to the dinos that come with the game instead of dinos created by users. (Sometimes, user created animals are not configured properly.) The zookeeper recommendations will not say it needs something if they are close enough. Look at all of the terrain that is in the exhibit. Let's say the exhibit has grass, dirt, sand, and fresh water and that the recommedations say there is too much dirt. Do not have the game paused. Then replace one square of dirt with grass. If the dinos give a smiley face, do another square. Keep doing this until there is no smiley face. Click the undo for that last square. Then replace one square of dirt with sand. Again, keep doing until no more smiley face. Click undo for the last square and do the process again with fresh water. Also, you might have to go through the process more than once. (I avoid this by starting with the terrain that there is the least and working my way through each one until I do the terrain that there is the most.)

If you are frustrated beyond belief, go to Wisco's site. He has the requirements for all the dinos...the exact number of terrain squares for whatever terrain the dino needs. (He actually has the requirements for all ZT, MM, and DD animals.)
