I have heard different dates from different places, I might have missed something on this site, but has anyone heard the official release date for Zoo Tycoon 2

In the US, you can pre-order at GIGAPC (never heard of them) for $37.95 or at EBgames.com for $39.95. EB says they will ship 11/16/04. I'm sorry but EB will ship only in the US.

There is nothing on Amazon.com, Best Buy, or Wal-Mart. Those are the three places where I can usually find what I want first and often at a little lower price.

Wal-Mart does have the strategy book for $12.59. The book will ship on 10/28/04. That's cheaper than Amazon.

I'm surprised Amazon doesn't have any info.....they are usually on top of things! I thought the release date was 10/26, but if EB isn't shipping until 11/16 that's about 3 weeks later. I guess this is a time to test patience!

I was told by the clerk at Babagge's that the game would be available to buy on October 5th. Why can't M$ make up their mind and tell us?!?

I sent an e-mail to Amazon.com Got back a sappy answer. They do have the strategy book but don't seem to have any information on the game.

because ms is in the us and translations for the gamer take longer
