This next animal also has 4 letters. I think it is somewhat tricky, but not uncommon.
pika: 0 letters match
degu: 2 letters match
(for those who don't know, a degu is a Chilean Ground Squirrel)
Interesting word, degu. It is not recognized by the Scrabble dictionary nor the American Heritage Dictionary. It is in the Random House Unabridged Dictionary. It is also in the 1913 version of the Webster's Unabridged Dictionary, but it was a proper noun (ie, capitalized) back then. Since Scrabble doesn't allow proper nouns, I wonder if they are using an older dictionary version.
guar or gaur: 2 letters match
gull: 3 letters match
Slug: correct
I thought "slug" was tricky because most people think of the verb rather than the animal, although I think most people have heard of the animal.
