This is my excuse for not comming back sooner.

To keep this short,I had been right down in bed for 9 days,w/ headache, nausae, and a very sore throat. But that wasn't the worst of it.

On monday,my mom took me to the dentist for a routine cleaning, but about 2 hours after we got home,i started to have trouble breathing.By 11:00pm I had fallen to the kitchen floor unable to breathe. My sister came over to our house and drove me to the hospital. When we got there, the doctors contacted my dentist to see what chemicals he had used(It was the only thing they could think of that would make a person swell from the inside out). The only chemical used was Peroxide(Which i am DEATHLY ALLERGIC TO!!!!!WE TOLD THE DENTIST THAT BEFORE I WENT!!!!!)x_x.I NEARLY DIED FROM THIS EXPIERIENCE!!!!!!

Now i have a slight cold, the side effects of a deadly allergic reaction(blurred vision,dizzy-ness,and headaches)and an EpiPen which i have to keep handy incase of another reaction.

.........Can my weak get any worse??

Oh my goodness!! Sorry for the ordeal you went through. What kind of dentist gives you something you specifically said you are allergic too? Time to get a new dentist I say. Hope you feel better soon

Yech. It is good that everyone could react so quickly and wisely to help you. I'm glad you have recuperated well enough to stop by. Hopefully a full recovery will come fast.

Glad to hear you are okay. Never trust dentists. I've never had that bad of an experience but I still had some pretty ugly visits. Anyways, welcome back to the Lounge and I'll pray for your full recovery from this ordeal.

My goodness, yuck. I am so glad you are okay, Angel-Katt.

I would never want to be a dentist--because even if I was a good one, everyone would hate me anyway.

glad you're still here

Thanks guys. I think i have an appointment sometime next week for my blood-work and allergies tests, till then,my mom has put away ALL household cleaners, and shampoos,(except for one bottle of Suave, because we know there's nothing in it that can affect me.)......kinda extreme, don'tcha think?

It may be extreme but it is best to play it safe until you know what else you may be allergic to. Best of luck with those tests.

What an idiotic dentist. What is wrong with him? does he have a hearing problem or something? You almost died from a dentist. Maybe this might spread or something! Then every kid would ran from dentists. Luckily for me my dentist is my Grandfather.

That dentist will probably never make the same mistake again. Same with the dentist who accidentally pulled the wrong tooth out of my mouth... even though my mom seemed to think otherwise... (the tooth was put back an hour later and held in with a brace, and then I had a root canal on it (to prevent infection), and eventually had the brace removed. It's fused to the bone pretty solid now, though it may eventually fall out... :XP:
