Yesterday, the principal caught tons of kids with toothpicks. I heard many of them had been running through the halls in between classes, jabbing other kids with them. Why, I don't know.

Speaking of toothpicks, I had a friend get in a duel with a toothpick the other day.She told me she had been on the move all day, so she slumped down in her sofa. Well, she said she felt something terribly sharp dig into her calf. She got up, moved over, and went to inspect the problem. She came across a toothpick embedded about an inch and a half into the side of her leg. She and her mother tried probably for hours before they got it out. She had serious trouble staying still while sitting in class. I definitely couldn't blame her.

for our mascot we have a huge head and the rest of the costum change all the time some times its a superman type suit or a football uniform with 00 on the back or just maroon and white clothes our school is now on the 3rd mascot head the first was paper-machee(sp?) and is now in one of our schools trophie cases (we have like 4 cause our school is really into sports like football, track, soccer, volleyball, and basketball and we used to have a really good cross-country team) the second one got retired last year after being used for like 30 years

in football we're really big rivals with a team whos mascot is a falcon(it looks like turkey with a mohawk  ) and our mascots box with those inflatable gloves its pretty funny cause neither person can really see

The Raider mascot has this huge, ugly head. You can get startled just by walking through the halls and seeing it. I nearly fell over once when I was getting to 5th period. The mascot was standing right in the middle of the hallway and I saw it and nearly tripped over from shock.

Wolfyu, your current signature reminds me of a couple things from the American comedian Gallagher:
The word "one" ought to start with a "wuh" sound and it don't have one. Why? There's a "wuh" in "why". But there ain't no "wuh" at the beginning of "one". There's an "e" you don't need. But there ain't no "wuh" in "one". Then you look at "two" and there's a "wuh" you don't even need. Could that be the "wuh" from "one" that slipped down to "two"?
I said, "This is going to be hard." But I knew it was because of the words that should rhyme but don't: GOOD FOOD. Why should I be serious about the language when the language isn't going to be serious to make sense? Other examples: BOMB TOMB COMB; comb rhymes with home; HOME SOME; some rhymes with numb. And it gets worse; WORSE HORSE; LAUGHTER DAUGHTER; ACHE MOUSTACHE; BEARD HEARD. Let's get simple: GO DO. Now these aren't two words off in a corner that we don't use anymore. This doesn't make sense.
The words I like to show to those where English isn't their primary language: "desert" as in "a desert island" versus "dessert" as in "had dessert after dinner". Based on the English rules of a vowel followed by 1 or 2 consonants, the pronunciations are reversed. Then, on top of that, "desert" is pronounced as "dessert" when it is used in phrases such as "his smile did not desert him" or "received his just deserts". English is such a stupid language.

this is getting confusing
our school does not have a mascot only some latin phrase: ora et labora!

Those are called eye rhymes! Your eyes see the rhyme, but you can't hear it when they're read. Occasionally they used to sound the same way back in Elizibethan times (like laughter:daughter), but had evolved a bit over time.

Sorry about that, I have made a mistake; my parents had another party and while I was down, a kid most likely got into my room ( and disobeyed the "This Room Is Off Limits. DO NOT ENTER sign ), and went on the internet. He or She definitely went into this board and did that. ( I don't even know how 2 make that 'S" sign! ) Forgive my mistake and I have learned my lesson; to KEEP about:blank as my webpage. ( And yes, to always eat cheesecake ). :banghead:  :banghead:

Wow, that's neat. I was thinking what Luna was thinking. It looks as if the whole picture itself is made out of toothpicks.
