Well, it is quite easy, but I should warn you not to use it on an animal because it would be allot of work!
you open the animations you want to make partly transparant in paint.
then you zoom in and use the smallest paint brush or pencil and make a chessboard pattern with the collor that you want to use as your "transparant" collor!
thats it.
