If You Have A Question, Please Read This First.

Congratulations. You are very observant. That could help in getting your answer.

There are three ways to get an answer to your question. The first two will probably get you an answer the fastest.

1) Many questions have been asked before. The most common questions, along with their answers, have been combined into a few threads. The topics for these threads are located near the top of the "Technical Support" section and the "Strategy Guides for ZT, DD, MM & CC" section. Specifically, the topics to view are Current List of Known Issues, Answered. READ ME! (in "Technical Support"), Game Crashes, Loading issues, Errors - Here is your Hammer. (in "Technical Support"), and How Do I..... (in "General Purpose Strategy Guides"). (To go to one of these underlined topics, click on it.)

2) For other questions, it is useful to search the forums for an answer. At the top of all pages, beneath the Zookeeper's Lounge logo, you can find the word "Search". (See ... being observant is useful.) If you click on the word "Search", you will be taken to the Search screen. In the "Search by Keywords" box, enter a word or phrase that you want to find. It might also be useful to set "Search Where" to "All Forums" and "Search posts from" to "Any date". Then click the "Perform the search" button. If the word or phrase is found, a list of topics are shown whose threads contain the word or phrase.

3) If you don't see an answer to your question by one of the above, post it in the "Technical Support" section. We do not constantly look at posts in "Technical Support". So, please be patient. Also, please be as specific about your question as possible. This can save time. Otherwise, we may have to ask for more information before we can answer. For example, we politely ask that you specify what expansions you have. (IE: DD ... MM.... , ZT only, and etc.) Other useful information that we normally request: the last time the program worked, how far the program works before you start having the problem, whether or not you have user created items, the last time you put in user created items, and which version of the operating system you are using (XP, Windows 2000, Windows 95, ...).

The above methods should help you get an answer. One way will not help, however. Pm' ing or emailing searain79 or Mak1027 or Jay will not give you any special technical advice, or faster answers. What you read in "Technical Support" is what we will tell you in PM or in an Email. We will politely ask you to read the threads in "Technical Support", or post your questions there.

This forum is provided for you the end user, and fellow gamer. It's very time consuming (but fun) to do the research and post our answers, tips, and advice for you to read, and learn. However, receiving PM's and receiving emails regarding technical support, when the answers are already posted here, can be time consuming and overwhelming. If you are requested (via post, PM, or email) to email a zoo, a screenshot, more information, or whatever the case may be, then of course you are welcome to do so. But please do so only when it is requested.

Thank you for your time. We hope one of the first three methods gets you the answer you need.
