The pictures that they showed were awful. The poor animals cound not even stand.

Wow. With two cats in the house that is good to know. That product will be in my do not buy list for sure. It might be perfectly safe for my cats, but who wants to take that chance?

i will only treat my cats with prescription flea treatments that the doctor prescribe - luckily they are indoor cats and rarely get any fleas

so sad about all those poor kitties

awww... poor little darlings...

good thing my kitty doesn't use that stuff. we use the advantage flea thingy (mostly just during the summer... she's an indoor cat but during the summer, she likes to sit near our opened, but screened, windows).
*begin ranting* :rant:
why don't they do more testing on this stuff or put a warning on it? "some cats may experience side effects such as blah blah blah"! it's just a penny's worth of ink, people! that spokeswoman even said that some cats may have a reaction. if they knew this and didn't put it on the label, they can get in big trouble... tsk tsk tsk. *shakes finger at them*

One nice thing about living in Colorado is the fleas are practically non-existent. But Minority is right, they should put a warning label on the bottles. It is the law.

We do, too. We use prescription flea and tick treatments that the vet prescribes for the dogs as well. We also used to have these flea and tick prevention collars that cats could wear. Our two cats wore them, but we had to be careful when petting them. If we petted the collar area, we avoided contact with eyes and immediately washed our hands. The toxic chemicals in the collars keep the ticks and fleas away, but they're a hazard when in contact with skin.

Since Indiana is generally a rural state, we have an abundant amount of ticks, fleas, and other hazardous parasites. Winters are rough, and that's good for the pets' sake, but summers are full of ticks especially. Last year, I was picking ticks off the dogs like popcorn. I think some of them were the size of popcorn. Those were the females of course.

my cats have never gotten fleas ive had one for almost 7 years and hes an indoor/outdoor cat guess hes just lucky

my dog got really bad fleas but my cats have never had any
