Encouraging News For The Sonoran Pronghorn
In 2002, the Arizona population of the endangered Sonoran pronghorn, North America's fastest mammal, fell to 21. A captive breeding area was created and, with the birth of 18 fawns born within the past three months, the population is above 100 again. This is encouraging.
