My little zoo consists of:
a ferret named Draco. My sister named him. Her graduation gift she has to give up bc/she's moving to Florida. Love the little bugger to death. First day he came home he came at me full speed with his mouth wide, teeth bared, hissing (his form of chuckling). My first thought was 'he's going to eat me!'.

3 guinea pigs. Kanna (aka Mommy), Lil' Sis, and Frodo. Frodo is a long-haired, cowlicked male with long toe hair. Like a Hobbit. You have to see the little bugger.

1 Parrotlet (note the avatar). Smaller than a sparrow (barely bigger than a zebra finch) who happily takes on Macaws, dogs, and ceiling fans. Emmy decided I was her pet instead of my sister. Attitude to spare. Enjoys ringing her bells, especially if you're not paying attention to her...god I hate those bells!

Many Koi, goldfish, and Shubunkins in a koi pond. It's been a pain keeping the water clean enough for the fish to live (we lost 3), the algal grow has been horrendous.

3 Silky Bantams and a Sultan Bantam hen. Who just hatched chicks. Quite a few of the chicks had problems and died. A seemingly healthy one died last night, so I'm not sure how many will survive to adulthood. The Silkies are the oddest looking birds I've ever seen. Think fuzzy llama butts or fuzzy pom-poms put together in the form of a chicken. And the Sultan we constantly mistake for a flower when she's in the weeds. Her crest is really odd, reminds me of frakenstine's wife's hair.

1 dog. Lucky (we're lucky we still had a home after we acquired her), is a blue heeler/black lab cross. Extremely intelligent dog. She's white with black spots, some black patches on her side and head, and really oddly colored eyes.

2 rats. Nezumi (Rat) and Hoshi (Star). Not a pet I'd see myself with, but love them anyways. Smart little buggers. Nezumi is the loyal dog, call her name and she comes running. She's a curly furred rat, her whiskers look like I took a curling iron to them. Hoshi is the independent/aloof cat. She sighs when I pick her up from her exploring, totally ignores me when I call. Brat!

2 cats. The flat-faced, tortiose-shelled, owl-looking Persian, Cocoa is the queen of the porch. Then Princess, my main coon/ angora cross barncat. 4 white socks, straight white line from her forehead to her tail, tabby she lives up to her prissy name. She's catch mice, yep she will. Then she'll bring them on my bed, swat me in the face, drop the mouse (alive!) on my chest and meow. She's never killed one! I've had to dispose of it everytime. Goofy cat.

5 horses. My babies.
Goke is my Saddlebred/draft cross. He has long ears and a crooked snip, makes him look dopey. He can open any gate, untie any rope, and wrap himself in any rope no matter the length and height... He's my personal riding horse, he acts stupid with anyone else on his back.
Phantom is our Walking horse mare. Mom wasn't supposed to be bred...tadah! First horse/foal I've ever completely trained and she's awesome! The self proclaimed princess of the pasture. Shove a horn on her forehead and she'd be a unicorn, very elegant and dainty.
Akira is a racking horse mare we bought half-dead. 4yrs later she's rideable, if a little flighty. Pain to catch and mount, but an awesome ride. I don't know if she'll ever get over her abuse. At least now you can raise your voice to talk to someone across the pasture...
Kit is a registered paint mare mom bought on a whim. A big puppy dog. We took her up to Salt Fork state park, everytime I dismounted to take a pic she tried to follow. Gave me big puppy dog eyes, 'why'd ya leave me?'. She loves the water...sudden baths in creeks are not cool...no pun intended.
Miroku is a proudcut(he thinks he's still a breeding stallion) Pony of American gelding. He only acts studdish in the pasture, when a person walks in he's a different horse. Awesome show pony! He moves and looks like a spanish Andalusian with spots! He's fun to ride!

Skunks are like cats or ferrets. Probably more ferretish since they are both mustelids. I'd rather have a pinto fox. I guess they have the same habits as kitties. They're selling groundhogs, raccoons, skunks, and different breeds of fox at the flea market.
