well i saw they baby elephant on sunday he was hilarious  he ran around following his mom and swinging his trunk around (he has almost no motor skills just like young human) he kept trying to climb on the large artificial rocks in his exhibit but his legs were too short he was funny  it will be neat to watch him grow i wonder if his mother will acctually try to teach him things (like how to use the shower in the exhibit(the elephants punch a big orange button with their trunks)) or if he will learn by example it will be interesting to watch him grow :)

im going again in 2 weeks for the opening of the australian exhibit which looks really cool

I like baby elephant
they have some human characteristics

A fact is a simple statement that everyone believes. It is innocent, unless found guilty. A hypothesis is a novel suggestion that no one wants to believe. It is guilty, until found effective.

well the columbus zoo had another birth! this time it was the mexican wolves :D they had a litter about 2-3 years ago and when the pups were about a year old they were released into the wild out west (and i have heard they adapted fine :D ) and on the 28th of April they had an other litter (but i probably wont get to see them till june) the zoo only has a pair of each subspecies of wolf they have (timber and mexican gray wolves) instead of having them in small packs but both pairs are quite productive ;) they have pups about every other year from at least one pair
