Hey, Jwa, do any of the zoos you've been to have gray wolves? I've been to about ten different zoos in my lifetime and none of them but one had wolves there (the one that did had only one 16 year old left, and he slept durring the day). I've been trying to see some wolves, since I've never seen a living wolf in front of my own eyes.

I have no signature.

Cheyenne Mountain has Mexican Grey wolves and Denver Zoo has Arctic wolves. Don't recall any zoo having gray wolves...

Wolfyu, i found out that there are timberwolves at the zoo in St. Paul, Minnesota and Mexican wolves at the Minneapolis zoo...
i've never been to either of those though, nor the ones in Colorado...
if i remember correctly Minneapolis is closer to you by about 3 hours driving time

the columbus zoo has gray and mexican gray wolves but just a pair of each now both had litters in the last couple years and the mexicans were released into the wild and the grays were sent to another zoo i think
the gray wolves are usually really active during the cooler months(and the exit drive for the zoo goes right behind the exhibit and they enjoy chasing cars
) they come right up to the exhibit glass and stare right at you and the mexican wolves are also active occasionally but are much shyer they like to stay back in the trees but ive seen the alpha male stand up against the glass before

The Omaha Zoo's Wildlife Park ((outside of the SAC museum area)) has a pack of gray wolves. The last time I was there, they had about 2 acres to run free in and a lot of vegitation. I saw glimpses of them, but didn't see one up close and personal.
The Omaha Zoo also has Red of Mexican wolves ((I don't remember which)) in the back part of the zoo, though I have never seen them.
