My grandfather had a pet skunk, but that was back in the 60's... I always considered a skunk as a pet, but my parents never really went for it... lol!

i wouldnt see what would be wrong with it (as long as it was descented that is  ) be great fun to surprise people with too

KC:your cats name is about as inventive as my peninsla cooter's name-Cooter

i have gotten a few more pets since i last posted
i still have the cats:Tiger huge 7 yo male/ Stitch 1 yo female
2 turtles: pen. cooter-Cooter/yellow bellied slider
2 iguanas: adult female Sunny/juvie (cant believe this diseased little county fair prize is still alive-live animals should be outlawed as prizes  )
5 leopard geckos: breeding pair and 3 offspring (anybody want a gecko? )
and now 2 fish tanks:the south american one with angelfish, red-eyed, lemon, and cardinal tetras, cory catfish, clown plecos (pretty pointless little fish-hardly ever see them and they dont do any work on the algae-but they are cool to look at when they can be seen), and the newest additions-some ottocinclus catfish
i also set up a small african cichlid tank with one N. brichadi and one N. pulcher

Great idea Okapi! I didn't think about how guests may react to me having a pet skunk. :D :D (rushes off to think of diabolical ways to pester guests with a pet skunk  )

Aww, but its ok... if kitty doesn't get mousie, then mousie multiplies. THEN you'd have 50,000,000,000 mousies...

Tycho probably had fun catching it too... using the natural hunting instincts and all.

I've had a few types of frogs before, never darts though. They are fascinating critters.

I just added some new fish to my collection today. Now my pet count is:
2 cats
2 green iguanas
5 leopard geckos
1 yellow-bellied slider (turtle)
1 peninsula cooter (turtle)
and 3 fish tanks containing:
2 African cichlids (and their 40+ fru currently)
2 clown plecos
6 cardinal tetras
3 lemon tetras
4 Otocinclus catfish
5 Corydoras catfish
and now...*8 kuhli loaches*
these guys are somewhat hard to acclimate to tank life as practically all are wild caught so I won't be surprised if I lose a couple, but hopefully they will all make it through quaratine well.

Our family has had a lot of pets over the years. Currently we have one parakeet(slightly deranged, always has been. DON'T BUY THE TEAL COLORED ONES!!), four zebra finches(I started with two, but you know zebra finches. They build nests in their food dish.:?), and one bichon frise. You know, little fluffy white dogs that are hyperactive and EXTREMELY friendly?
Deep fried lemur, anyone?

I had to sell off all my birds and fish tanks because of my asthma, but I do get to keep my dogs as they don't affect it!
So I have 5 Dachshunds, we had 4 but one of them had a litter in Nov of 04, so I kept one of the girls, she is a black and tan dappled. We will have another litter this summer but I will not be keeping anymore, we had to buy a king size bed just to keep the ones we have

I have cat, an orange tabby named Angel, one dog, a boxer named Kakarot (don't ask). One bird, a severe macaw named Pita, and Ali, my alligator.
Your spirit can soar on the wings of imagination, your mind can play in the pages of a book, hunters roam in the night. As for me, i'm just crazy.
