Don't worry.

London Zoo was in the same situation a few years ago.Now things couldn't be better.I would urge all those who support conservation work to contribute whatever they can.If you support the good zoos they will pull thru!

the zoo itself has undergone a name change (now "The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore") and posted a FAQ about the recent troubles.
You can read it by clicking HERE

sounds like it will get a big makeover once it reopens; I wish them luck

oh yet Magnet the Polar Bear who was the "Beast In Show" winner for ZT lives at the Maryland Zoo...

I hope they can get their zoo back on the track soon.

A fact is a simple statement that everyone believes. It is innocent, unless found guilty. A hypothesis is a novel suggestion that no one wants to believe. It is guilty, until found effective.

and i'm sure another American zoo
even if the zoo were too go under (which i doubt) Magnet (and the other animals) would surely be able to find a great new home at a great zoo (maybe Detroit, it has one of the best polar bear habitats next to the arctic)
