In order to help prevent spambot activity, this site does not allow a member to start new topics or edit one's posts until the member has first made 10 reply posts. A good way for a new member to earn their first reply post is by introducing themselves in the "A Place For New Members To Introduce Themselves" topic in the "Introduction, Reintroduction, & Going Away notices" forum.
Also, members that have not posted in a while might also want to reintroduce themselves in that topic. The reason is that, once the changes were made to help prevent spambot activity, this forum software sometimes does not realize a member has reached the number of reply posts until the member actually makes a more recent reply post.
