And ZKL has made it through another year.
I remember the day I picked up a new PC and swore blind that it would never be used for games.
Then I found a software bundle at the bottom of the box and in that bundle was a game called "Zoo Tycoon"
I'd never heard of it.
But it was a game and the temptation was too good to resist.
So I loaded it up and lo and behold I immediately got hooked.
After a bit of quick Googling I found out about all the cool downloads for the game and in my quest to find something really special I stumbled upon the Lounge.
I joined, and was made most welcome.
I became a Moderator, and eventually an Admin.
That was a few years ago now.
The Lounge has changed a bit since the "old days".
The founder, the original Zookeeper retired.
The Lounge moved to a new home and we built it back from the ground up.
We still offer one of the finest collections of user created objects anywhere on the web, and kudos goes out to all the people involved in bringing those to us.
The Lounge isn't as active as it used to be, but it's still a great place.
So, Happy New Year to all our guests and members past and present.
You guys are what make the Lounge so special.
I'm off to build a tiger exhibit.
