The ZKL Mod's are proud to announce a zoo building contest just in time for back to school and fall! (well, atleast in this hemisphere ) And what better way to get yourself all fired up for ZT2 than building the best savannah themed zoo EVER!
......and did I mention that there would be prizes?

Heres the RULE-AGE:

BASICS:

* The Theme: A Savannah Zoo!
Build your best savannah themed zoo! No, it doesn't have to be 100% savannah but the more savannah - the more points you get!

* Size and Map: The Medium Grassy Zoo.

* Must be compatable with MM. Since many people did not get CC, no arctic or Japanese theme pack items.

* All offical downloads are permissable

* No cheats please

* May use 5 additional downloads, but those downloads must be from ZKL.
---- With one exception, you may use a "freeform unlock" download, but it will count as one of the 5 additional downloads.

* Competition is open to all members of the Lounge, expect for the Judges (superlion, Wolfyu, Twilight_Star, and cosmichedgehog).

* Entries must be submitted by September 22.

SPECIFICS:

*Zoo must have a minimum of 10 species (points for additional species over 10)

*Zoo must have atleast 1 multiple species exhibit (points for each multi animal exhibit beyond the first one)

*Animal and guest happiness should be atleast 80 (Bonus points for 85, 90, 95, 100)

*Entry must include a list of downloads

PRIZES:
3rd place gets a Banner
2nd place gets a Banner
1st place gets a Banner and a billboard which can carry a phrase/message of their choice (NO swearing) and will be added to the downloads.

Can we use money cheat?

No cheats please, not even the money cheat. I know it's a well known cheat, and to be honest, I use it all the time -- But this is a contest and I don't think cheats belong in a contest. Keep in mind that the money cheat has a particularly nasty side effect of destroying fences.......... which will hurt you in the long run. Guests and animals don't seem to like it when the animals run loose in the zoo. The only time you could safely use it is in the beginning, and that will be pretty obvious in the zoo statistics. (and so would having a whole gang of maintaince workers named Bob Villa )

Hi there, I just joined this board and I'm interested in the contest. I know the money cheat is not allowed, but are we allowed to start the game with the maximum amount of money (ie $500K)?

just one question about downloads if i download something like applebees pack does that count as one download or 3 (cos of the fence and path)

if it is in one ZTD file it is one download (even if there are 3+ objects in said file)

any news on when winners will be announced
