well! this is nice for preventing spam, I guess, but a pain in the butt if you just want a question answered! Hello again anyway.

Everyone else seems to be shut down so this is THE place for ZTers. I am posting a question here hoping to get some answer as I doubt I will have the time to play around with 10 more posts.

I have a user created flower barrel that seems to not be available anywhere now. It will only show up in the Scenario games and not a freeform game. Does anyone know how to put it in both places? or move it to show up in freeform only? I do not see it by name in the list of objects so it must just have a number. Any help?

do you have the freeform unlock?
that allows all objects/animals in games from day one.

I am assuming you are using ZT1. Is that correct? If so, what expansion packs do you have? The ZT1 freeform unlock will only unlock ingame things, and not user created ones, although user created ones are usually always unlocked. I am not familiar with a "flower barrel", although there are a number of barrel cacti and flower baskets. Does this object still show up in scenarios? If so, what is its exact name in the purchase menu? Do you have user created scenarios as well? If so, which ones? But if the object no longer shows up anywhere, scenarios or freeform, then it is probably overwritten by another user creation. If that is the case, and you are familiar with looking inside ".ztd" (".zip") files, you can try to find it by looking in ".ucs" and ".ai" files inside the ".ztd" files. If you are not familiar with this, then you would have to try moving out all of your user downloads that you have installed since you last saw the object.

Good evening, I'm RuthieJo, I may have been registered under your old site, but not sure, it would have been under RuthieJo also.

I'm from north west Texas and am a grandmother.

I've been playing ZTCC for about four or five years now, and love it. I've only finished one zoo in all that time, and that was for the ztunlimitedforum Sept. contest.

I make my zoos and don't like them, so I delete them and start over again. But I usually have four or five zoos going at one time.

I just got a new computer in June, with a great graphic card, and my zoos are looking so much better.

I lost all of the downloads I've had over the years and have spent quite a bit of time finding them again.

Welcome to the Lounge RuthieJo. Have you found all thoese downloads that you once had? I try to be regular in backing up my games and downloads now after having gone through that. I'm on like my fourth computer now with ZTCC and all my zoos, maps and downloads.

Well "Hello to all", from the murky mists of ZT's past to the brand new players!

Tis' I, Zirconia Wolf (not that anyone would remember me! ) just popping in to say "Hi" & take a peek around at all the changes.

A recent trip to a local Zoo made me "homesick" for Zoo Tycoon (I've been a "prisoner" of that bloody Sims 2 of late) & even inspired me to do sometime I thought I would never do: I just bought/installed copies of ZT2 Zookeeper Collection & Marine Mania! (To understand the impact of this move, you should know that at one time I swore I would never leave my beloved ZT1 for "that piece of child-oriented fluff" as I called ZT2 in my head. )

To say I'm currently shell-shocked would be an understatement: ZT2 is most certainly not just a new version of ZT1, but an entirely different take on the ZT universe. While I consider myself to be pretty awesome at ZT1, I currently feel like a complete ZT2 doofus. (This will change after I get through the Tutorials & some of the low-level Campains...I hope! )

Of course, if it doesn't "work out", I can always fall back on my faithfull ZT1!!

Anyway, just thought I would duck in to say Hi, test my new avatar & raise my post count so I can ask lots of whatdoIdonow questions about ZT2! (This should make 6...)
