This poem was in our local paper several years ago. It really caught my attention, and I've saved it all this time.

Sounds that flow
Through the air
Nevermore shall I go there
Water swirling
Dark and slow
The air holds the presence
of something foul
On the night of the crescent moon
The darkness holds the key
To a treasure so great
It exceeds even
The imagination
Of thee
