Tears swarm out,
Eyes redden,
Trails left behind show.
You wish you could hold back,
and not let go.
You wish you could see through,
to look one last time.
Must it be this way?
He has chosen this way, but why?
Why has he drained the creature's soul?
Why must it be and end this way?
The creature is not of this world anymore,
and it hurts to admit that this is how it's supposed to be.
No one will know why,
No one will find a key to unlock the mystery,
No one will ever try,
to unlock the true meaning of life.

A sad poem, to match the day for me and Wolfie, and this is dedicated to all the people who have lost a pet.
