Rhapsody -- "Wings of Destiny"

Hmm. I heard it from a friend one time, and she told me the name of the song. Sure she was wrong about the name. :P

Now ya' happy, Minority? :stubborn: lol

yep. very happy. ^_^

and your song is I'm Gonna Getcha Good by Lutricia McNeal. actually, it's one of my personal favs. i'll getcha good! :P

"And through all Alex's wondrous
Childhood he would honour and obey
Love and watch the lovely maiden
On whose gentle arms he just lay"

i love this band. they're a great band to just veg to. everytime i listen to this CD, it reminds me of thunderstorms in summer, when my room is hot and dark and lit only by a string of heart lights over my bed.

Hooverphonic-- "Someone"

And Minority, the song I was thinking of was by Shania Twain, but hey, you were close enough. ;)

"If you want to I can save you,
I can take you away from here,
So lonely inside, so busy out there,
And all you wanted was somebody who cared..."

Pretty much a giveaway if you're really into music.

ahh of course. Michelle Brance - All You Wanted. my friend's sister is OBSESSED with this song. <_< it's gotten annoying now. it used to be tolerateable (i don't really care for pop/rap/r&b music anyway), but now it's just... arrrgh.

*is now determined to stump kielo*

time to get out the stuff no one's heard. :sneaky:

"i hold truth like a torch
shadows flicker before me
rapid eye follow the
chain of thought
until the silence ends"

Rain of Brass Petals-- "Three Voices Edit" (This song is also from Silent Hill 3 for PS2. I have played this game before and unfortunately for you, Minority, I have heard the song from the game trailer. Ha! ;) )

"I knew this kid,
His name was Michael,
And he was only 4 years old,
We sat on a rock and started talkin'..."

Ha! Lee Ann Womack - Forever Everyday. i've heard that song quite a few times (my friend's mom loves it and plays it all the time) ^_^

:grumpy: now i gotta try to find a tougher song... ehh, i'll give an easy one since i can't think of a hard song right now...

this is one of my all-time favorite songs. it can immediately erase any happy/angry mood you have and turn it into apathy/sadness. but it's beautiful...

"Am I the key
of fiction and heartache?
And the pain
is of no consequence"

Kenna-- "Hell Bent"

"Save your money on a flower,
What's yours is mine is ours,
And I can grow my own..."

I used to listen to this song a lot. Now that I think of it, it's kind of cheesy, just like on of the lyrics in the song. <_<

Rebecca Lynn Howard - Pink Flamingo Kind Of Love

couldn't stand seeing the "name that tune" string being left out in the cold.

here's an easy/medium one. if you've never heard the song, you probably will have no idea, but it's one fun song to listen to, and the band that "covers" it is awesome. ^_^

"We don't know
what he did,
but we're down with Captain Kidd!"

Relient K-- "The Pirates That Don't Do Anything"

Now this is a hilarious song I just love! You might know it though.

"I get up in the mornin' bout six AM,
Have a little jelly, have a little jam,
Take a piece of bread put in the slot,
Push down the lever and the wires get hot,
I get toast."

Should be pretty easy...........

We’ve had some fun, and yes we’ve had our ups and downs
Been down that rocky road, but here we are, still around
We thought about someone else, but neither one took the bait
We thought about breaking up, but now we know it’s much too late
We are bound by all the rest
Like the same phone number
All the same friends
And the same address

"I'm So Happy to be Stuck With You" by Huey Lewis and the News

Here's one for you.... may be hard so put on your thinking caps!! (or get your search engines ready, LOL)

Can I have this dance my you're looking pretty
Is there something wrong did he leave you hurting
I don't mean to pry but that tear in your eye gave you away
If you don't want to talk we'll keep it quiet
But sometimes a heartache hurts worse if you hide it
I think there's a chance one slow dance might ease the pain

The Postal Service

"And our friends are all aboard,
Many more of them live next door,
And the band begins to play."
