hey guys...
yeah, i know i should be gone, but i got a break. ^_^
anyway, over thanksgiving, my little cousin was talking about a game she saw on tv that had animals in it and you could play with them (naturally, zoo tycoon came to my mind). so, i brought her over to the computer and let her play with my original for a bit while i worked on dinner and such. then she said that the one she saw was different, so i went to download the new demo so she could play that one too. i installed it, and it installed flawlessly....
except, now when i start it, it comes up with a light blue screen and a white little rectangle in the center where everything is displayed. i can't see the menu, just enlarged parts of it, and there is huge white text that i can't make out in the center. anyone run into this problem?
or know how to fix it?

I cannot say specifically, but it seems most ZT2 problems are related to video drivers and video adapters. I can think of 3 possibilities.
1. For some people, downloading and installing the most up-to-date video driver for their adapter has worked.
2. The support area at the MS ZT2 site has a copy of the readme that comes with the game. It lists a number of video adapters that are known to work with updated drivers or are known to not work even with updated drivers.
3. The game comes with DirectX 9. I suspect that the demo does not. If you do not have DirectX 9 already, you might need to download and install it yourself.
