I like to have the garden bench as a decorative bench. I love the bench but can't use it because my guest get stuck when I do!

My wish is to have the Garden Bench as a Decorative piece!

Welcome to the Lounge!

I just downloaded it and it looks simple enough to create a decorative version from it. So that will be my next project. That will also give me another thing I can add to my zoos. :))

I have created a decorative version of the garden bench, tested it, and submitted it to the testing team here.

Fortunately for the testing team (but unfortunately for people waiting for the downloads), the members of the team have lifes outside of Zoo Tycoon. So it often takes a long time before they get to testing and for the items to get released. Hopefully things will go faster, but the previous decorative benches took more than a month before they were put in the download section. Now for the wait (the hardest part). :))

Again thank you!

P.S I would have creatived it myself only if I knew how! I have learn how to do something but still learning. This is one thing I would love to learn!

If you understand how to take things out of ".zip" files and put them back in, this type of change is extremely easy. (I took the ".ai" file out, renamed it to a ".ucs" file, edited the ".ucs" file to make it look like ".ucs" files of other user made scenery, and put the ".ucs" file back in. I made some other changes just for efficiency, but those were not actually necessary.) There are various tutorials here explaining how to do much of what I just said.

This was easy because I did not have to start from scratch. It is very difficult to create graphics and use the APE tool. I cannot do either of those things. But, in this case, that part was already done.

Feel free to do these types of things, as well as to create totally new things. If you get stuck, you can ask questions in the APE forum here.

Great to see another download on the way! I'm going to close this topic now as there isn't really anything more to say ;)

To add: This item has been submitted in for testing here at ZKL and hopefully if all goes well it will be released as soon as it possibly can :D
