I'm just wondering if anyone has created any shelter packs, or even individual shelters? I'm tire of the one's ZTCC has. Looking for anything from a little burrow or warren for bunnies to a cave for bears. How about a dog house for dogs, bird cages for birds like the macaw--so it won't fly away. Stalls for horses, Small wood hut for goats or other small animals. Something for cats (small pet type). Also something for the show orcas, I think they'd like a home and ZT won't let you put the aqua cave in there because they are show animals.

There are some user created shelters. This site has a "Shelter For Small Animals" and "Tree Trunk Shelter" in the Object Downloads. ZT Design, http://www.hemsida.net/ztdesign, has an Igloo Shelter. ZT Planet, http://www.ztplanet.co.nr, has a Red Panda Pack that includes a Red Panda Shelter. ZooTek, http://www.zoo-tek.com/forums/index.php, has 7 shelters in the Shaped Shanties pack from Zooty ZT. Although not a shelter, ZooTek also has an aviary cage that can be placed over an exhibit.

As for the aqua cave, maybe ZT does not allow placing it in the show tank. However, ZT should allow it to be placed in animal tanks. However, that does not mean the animals will like it or that it will be used. Zoo Admin, http://zoo.ogresnet.com, has a shelter hack that will allow all ZT shelters to be used by any animal that wants a shelter.

Although these user created shelters exist, there is always room for more.

the "Shaped Shanties"-pack at Zoo Tek includes (like Jay already said) 7 shelters


I did announce 25 new shelters a couple of months ago, but those got lost in a computercrash before I could upload them. I currently don't have plans to remake them.

I checked out all the links. Love the "shanties" pack and aviary. They all work great. I couldn't get the igloo to work, it was from somewhere else. But that's ok, the other seven, red panda, and your tree trunk all work fine. My needs are met. Thank you very much.

Oh, jbl.....that is really too bad! I thought those looked so neat. I'm sorry you lost the data. I can understand not wanting to re-create them. That would be a lot of hard work.

I might still create a new shelterpack, but that will have to wait for a while.

Right now, I've started working on a junglepack - it will include at least one shelter, but I think that will be it

i have my computer with no internet, and another one with. the rents won't let me put it on mine. i downloaded shaped shanties onto disk from one with and put it on mine, but won't work on mine. says is downloading, but never is. tried so many times. why is this it wont work? is cause no internet? is something rong with download? help. want more shelters
