I thought it would be fun to start this topic about favorite bands or songs. :P Anyway I have way to many but here are a couple...

"Smells like teen spirit" Nirvana
"Boys and Girls" "Lifestyle of the rich and the famous" "The Anthem" Good Charlotte
"The last song" 'Swing swing" The all-american rejects
"Calling down an angel" "Soul tattoo" "Camouflage" Pluse one
All the songs from Lord of the rings soundtrack, But my favorites are " Pippins song" "The Black Riders" and Gollums song"
most of the songs on the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack
About all of the songs of Linkin Park
I'm going to sing the Doom song now, Doom, Doom, Doom, Doom, Doom, Doom... Oh, and my user name on Neopets is Rushellefff... Doom, Doom, Doom.

Hmm, I don't really have a favourite as I don't like many bands. I do like some songs from the LotR soundtrack and other films though ;) I also tend to like songs/music from RPG's and videogames. I would say my current favourite of those is the Intro song from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (Kazenone or Sound of the Wind I think?). :luv:

METALLICA  (speedmetal/metal)( I'm so predictable): Dyers Eve, Moterbreath, master of puppets, Fuel, Battery, ain't my b***h, sanitarium, one, Metal Militia, Ride the Lighning, creeping death, fight fire with fire, for whom the bell tolls

Heideroosjes(punkrock): who's there for me, united scum, I'm not deaf I'm just ignoring you,
break the public peace, time is ticking away

From Autumn to Ashes (emocore): the Switch, the After dinner Payback, the Royal crown vs. blue Duchess, reflections

Sepultura (nu-metal): slaves of pain

't hof van commerce (one of the only cool Hip Hop groups): zonder totetrelkerie, zeg n ké oe laat ist, dikkenekke, Kom mor ip

Therapy? ( Irish hardrock): isolation, H*llbelly, trigger inside

Black Sabbath: Iron Man

other cool bands: Clawfinger, Iron Maiden, Ramms+ein, Slipknot, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Morda

A fact is a simple statement that everyone believes. It is innocent, unless found guilty. A hypothesis is a novel suggestion that no one wants to believe. It is guilty, until found effective.

I'm with Raindragon. I just love RPG music. The Final Fantasy series has the greatest music. As for non-RPG music, I enjoy Jo Dee Messina and Shawn Colvin. And of course I love opera. Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera have to be my favorites.

Hmm.. Favorite songs?

Well, my all-time favorite is "The First Cut is the Deepest" by Sheryl Crow, and "All You Wanted" by Michelle Branch comes in a close second. I also like "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton, and "Unwell" by Matchbox20.

Music is definitely a part of me. One of my friends was a part of a bluegrass group when she was just a little girl. She was on stage in front of hundreds of people.

It would take me too long to name all the songs I enjoy. So, here's just one more for now and I may add more later:

"This is Me" by Faith Hill

I couldn't begin to list all my favorites here...the list is simply too long. There is not a genre of music I hate.

If I had to pick just one, though, it would probably be "Holding Out For A Hero" by Bonnie Tyler. I'm an 80's child...

My tastes vary, but I like to say that I enjoy listening to "philisophical pop". Basically, I like pop songs that have both good music and good, clear lyrics that make me think. My favorite artist is Paul McCartney, whether it was with the Beatles, Wings, or "Give My Regards to Broadstreet". My favorite CD is "1" by the Beatles. My favorite song is "Yesterday". (Since it has been rerecorded by more artists than any other song not related to "holidays", apparently I'm not alone in liking it.) That song actually can have a second, funny meaning. There was a talent show when I went to college where a girl sang that song and pretended she was pregnant. By just changing "not half the man" to "more woman than" and "she" to "he", the lyrics matched perfectly to the situation. ("shadow hanging over me" has a whole new meaning.) She won the show.

I like rock. Pop rock or heavy metal. Everything from areosmith and styx to three days grace and drowning pool. I'm only 18, but there are so many songs and bands out there, that for me too there are too many to list.
