I'm planning on getting a pembroke corgi this summer as a family pet. We don't know what gender the puppy will be, since the breeder hasn't given us a selection yet, but me and my family are trying to think of names.
Here's some pictures of what he or she may look like:
For a male I've been thinking of the name, "Cooper". I always liked that name.

My mom likes "Rusty".
Any of you guys have suggestions for names?

Hmmm.....well, they sort of have pointy, sticking up ears, kind of like this: :gizmo:
I think Gizmo would be a cute name. I love corgis, they are very sweet.

You're getting a corgi? Good for you!
I'd name him/her Corky (the corgi).

Gizmo is always a good name for any pet. My aunt has a female corgi named Maisy. And for a boy hmm... Scamper always works.

Ein! Like the corgi in Cowboy Bebop!
Ein is a really smart dog too
Just make sure you keep yoru corgi well excercized and on a good diet. They're a breed that has a lot of problems with obesity. And ask you vet how much to feed him or her, because the advisements on the sides of bags of dog or cat food bags aren't usually good, they're just for making the food companies money...

Funny, I was thinking the same thing.

As far as names go, you could always look for one on one of those "baby name" sites. Those are always good if you need to think up a name.

I would have expected a name such as Wolfy/Wolfe/Woofy.
Many people choose names based on meanings. When you think of these future pets (family members), what adjectives or phrases come to mind?

Well, I do like Luna's suggestion. My grandparent's once had a little dachshund named Corky. I think it's a cute little name. For a female, you could name her Lily. I just got a new kittie the other day; a calico. She's beautiful! We named her Lily.
For a male, you could name him Ty. I also like Gizmo... Hmm...
