we had an incident recently where you may have been suddenly prompted for a username and password to view a thread. This occured due to a user hotlinking a photo to use for an avatar and sig pic from another persons website.
In the past, we have had issues where folks have hotlinked images and gotten into some hot water over it.
This is a friendly reminder that you can either choose from our avatar gallery for an avatar,
or
luna manar has graciously provided all of us use from her gallery -

please refrain from hotlinking from a website that you do not have permission from.
