Thanks for your comments. The others here are still the main ones. This was done because we have been getting many hits from spambots ever since October and this allows us to ban their IP addresses sooner, since I tend to check in more. Other measures have also been taken. If the various Search Engine sites allowed reporting abuse, there would be much less forum spambots.
