Wishing Success In Any Upcoming Exams
Thanks! It looks like I passed chem
Just one more exam (and not such a hard one), then I will be about ready to go home!
PS. I saw a friend on the way back from that exam and he asked what I was doing in that part of campus. Told him I had the exam for that class. Said it took him three times taking that class to finally pass.

mine start monday
monday should be easy-start out with art (if you have all projects, a drawing board, 2 portfolios, a lock for your locker then you have an A-so thats one I have an A on) then french-shouldnt be difficult, its just a summary of a chapter in a book we're reading and a listening comprehension test over random parts of the book)
then tuesday-the hard day-english, history, and geometry (i'll really be studying for that day)
then wednesday-biology(not too hard but i'll really study for it too)
the one thing i like about exams is my school hours next week:
monday-7:35 to 10:40
tuesday-7:35 to 12:15
wednesday-9:10 to 10:40
(extra hour and a half of sleep)
good luck to everyone else too

In Belgium we have 2 weeks of exams (and then the oeso sais we have the highest quality of education for math and languages). I took my last exam yesterday. We also have oral exams, but the 3 math exams were the hardest.

Back in my exam taking days, oral exams were always the toughest. Not necessarily for the grades. Since I am so shy, it was the stress level that was so much tougher to handle. History was the toughest from a grade perspective. Math, computers, and chemistry were always the easy ones for me.
What does "oeso sais" mean?

well "sais" has something to do with knowing no idea about the "oeso"
well i should be leaving for my last exam in about 15 min. but the snows really coming down so i guess i'll have to wait a couple weeks
i hate oral exams too i really dont like public speaking
my hardest class grade wise is also history and english is pretty close
any sciences seem to come really easily to me and while i dont like math, i find it pretty easy (well except for algebra 2)

sorry my mistake, oeso is a dutch abreviaton, I believe the english one is OECD(Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development)
I their latest inquiry the flemish (since Belgium is a federal country, every region is responsible for it's education; Flanders (dutch speaking part) is one of them) education system was number 1 on the list for math
BTW our educational system is totally different. In Belgium there are different kinds of high schools (theoretical high schools prepare you for college and university/ in technic and profession schools you can learn more practical professions like electrician, mechanic, hairdresser...) , and in theoretical high school we cannot pick our subjects, we have a choice between
1. a lot of math or less math (3,4,6,8 hours a week)
2. sciences, latin or modern languages(german, english, french)
but if you pick for examle latin and a lot of math you still get science and modern languages but not as much if you would have picked science or modern languages.
hehe

we have so many required classes and then we can pick electives
we have to have i believe 3 math, 4 english, 3 or 4 sciences, 3 history, 2.5 health but that doesnt include if you want to go to college then you also need like 1 foreign language, 1 fine arts, 1 computer and some other stuff
after this year i will have: 3 math, 2 english, 2 science, 2 history, 1 health, 3 foreign language, and 4 fine arts
this is my second year but i took one foreign language and one math before high school and ive taken 2 fine arts each year

Thanks Jay!
I've got GCSE's a little later on this year but I did my mocks before Christmas. Maths and Chemistry are probably my worst subjects but I'm quite pleased I got a B for the mocks - I wasn't expecting that. I got B's and A's (possibly a C) in the others so I'm hoping I won't do too badly in the real thing.
