According to CNN.com, the actor Christopher Reeves passed on Sunday October 10. He was best known for his roles as Superman. 9 years ago he suffered a near-fatal horse-riding accident that left him paralyzed. He was able to recover his ability to breathe and move his index finger before passing on. During his long recovery, he became a hero and a sign to never give up hope and to always fight on. He never once quit, and he was living proof that we can do anything if we put our minds to it. I'll always remember the courage on his face as he struggled to regain his ability to move. He was an inspiration to everyone and I'll miss him dearly. May he soar with angels now.

i grew up watching him fly

i admire his courage and determination and that he never gave up.

i also admire his wfe for standing by him in his time of need, so many people nowadays bail out when the going gets tough (especailly in hollywood)

my thoughts and prayers go to his wife diane and his son Will

It's really too bad he had to suffer so much in his final years. At least now he is better off without all those tubes and gadgets. I really admired him for his research efforts as well.

RIP, Superman.
