I'm with Niebi on this one, the gymnastics routine off the arrows in the oliphant's side were not my favorite moment either. And personally I thought the undead army was an unsatisfactory shade of plasma green. It was just too disctracting.

One thing that left people I talked to scratching their heads (at least those who had never read the book) was that they never explained the whole Denethor insanity thing. It made the Steward of Gondor look like he was nothing but a raving lunatic and did not bother to explain that there was a valid reason why he acted that way! All it would have taken was a 10 second glimpse of him using a palantir and suddenly it would have made more sense.

My favorite scene is in the first instalment, where the hobbits are drinking at the inn, they look over to the shadows and are met with THOSE eyes from aragorn/strider. :luv: :luv:

I always watch the Oscars. My early predictions:

Best Picture -ROTK (there is no competition)
Best Actor- Johnny Depp in Pirates of Caribbean

Other then those two I really don't know except for Zellweiger in Cold Mountain for best supporting actress.

I'm shure they will get a lot of oscars

Congrats to LOTR! They were nominated in 11 categories and won EVERY one of them, including Best Picture! Cheers to one of the best series of movies all-time!

It's so awesome! :))
ROTK is the best movie of all time! It actually tied both Titanic and Ben-Hur for the most Oscars ever won for a movie. :D

Time to party! But I am sad that it's over.
