it's just the Best Fantasy/action film ever :))

its a really good movie, but not flawless. I really dislike the scene when Legolas jumps on this Oliphant and kills it alone, then slides down on its trunk. I can already hear all those little fan-girls sream...
I liked the first one best ! ;)

I thought that was a good scene. ROTK was the greatest fantasy movie i ever saw. I like it the best out of the trilogy. I've seen it twice now but I hope to go again soon.

It was just terrible! Peter Jackson mst have lost his touch, bacause the movie wasn't gripping, stunning, electrifying nor magnificent at all! Especially that Orlando Bloom, he really dissapointed me! :P

J/K ;) I haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure it will be a worthy end to this epic masterpiece!

I hadn't been to a movie in about 3 years, so I never saw the first two, but I went and saw ROTK over Christmas, and loved it. I NEED NEED NEED to rent the other two. I wished Orlando Bloom had been given more stuff to do in ROTK, but I have to see what he does in the other two films. He is adorable. I love all the actors...from a female point of view LOL, but I also love every thing about it--the story, the sets, the acting, the editing, the directing, the oundtrack, etc. I want to see all 3 in a row now.

I thought the visual aspect and computer tricks were nicely done but i was dissapointed with the ending.
Having read the book i was waiting and waiting to see sarumon not just the 'big eye'. I felt like its ending was - rushed.
I left the theatre, with my son (6) - not as excited about the movie as the Fellowship & Two towers.
Maybe Arogorn ,( :luv:), finally getting hitched killed me off.

Lesson learnt - DONT READ THE BOOK B4 SEEING A MOVIE!! :D

The ending bugged me. It was just too long. how they should have ended it was Aragon and the rest bowing to the hobbits, and then Frodo doing a voiceover explaining that Sam gets married, and that Frodo and Bilbo leave and etc. They didn't need the last 15 minutes. Still a great movie. Hope it wins Best Picture at the academy awards.

i, for one loved the ending...there were a lot of scenes that i wish they would have put in, like Eowyn meeting Faramir in the Hall of Healing. :grumpy:

and the scene where Saruman is in the Shire, etc...

I really liked the movie. The soundtrack wasnt as good as the Two Towers but, it was good either way.
