Still a big fan of anything by Rumiko Takahashi (she roxor as a mangaka).
I loved Outlanders by Joji Manabe
and of course Appleseed and Akira (Shirow and Ottomo respectively).
as far as anime...
I still adore Moldiver, Akira and Ushio & Tora :D

Hmm...I'm not the biggest Inuyahsa fan. Sure when I watched the episodes the first three times they were awesome! But then you get to realize that they're all the same...every time. Then I looked at the mangas. That style is really ugly and plain to me and everyone looks nearly the same. Conclusion: Wolfyu doesn't like Inuyasha.

I completely forgot about the Miazaki/Ghibli Studio works! Spirited Away is one of the most amazing movies I've ever seen! And you can't forget Princess Mononoke. ^^

Hey, Firelupe, instead of posting twice in a row, you can use the edit post button to add on to your original post. Double posting, as it is called, can eat up space.

My list goes like this. Let's see how open minded I am...

Shows
1. Wolf's Rain...Toboe
2. Yuugiou...Ryou
3. None?

Movies
1. Spirited Away...Kamaji and Rin
2. Princess Mononoke...The antelope. Yakuul or something...
3. None... ._.

Mangas
1. Yuugiou...Jounouchi and Ryou
2. Hikari No Go...Hikari
3. Wolf's Rain (Actually, I have yet to read this, so I can't say anything)

Moving onto a new anime related topic...how does everyone here feel about "Rabid Fan Girls"? I think they need to get lives...Majorly. One of my favorite artists, Goldenwolf, allowed commenting in her gallery. She made a Wolf's Rain fanart sketch and someone commented with the word "Mine" about two hundred times in a row. *sigh*

Anime is awesome, plain and simple. My friend and I are into...well it's a sick obsession.

Manga
Naruto ...Naruto, Itachi, Jiraiya
Yu-Gi-Oh...Marik, Bakura, & Joey
Death Note...(not that far yet)

Series
Wolf's Rain...Toboe
Yu-Gi-Oh (manga is so much better though)...same as above
One Piece...Luffie (sp)
Dragonball Z...Vegeta
Fruits Basket...Haru, Hana, and Momiji
Inuyasha...Miroku, Kilala (Kirara), and Shippo
Cowboy Bebop (the movie made me go back and watch it) Ein the corgi and Ed
Nightwalker...ummm...no favs
Vandread...Ditta
Full Metal Panic...Kyoko Tokiwa
Heat Guy J...Jay and Boma
Full Metal Alchemist...Armstrong & Al
Hellsing...Alucard
Orphen...Volcan, Cleo, & Majic
Yami No Matseui...Hisoka Kurosaki
Yu-Yu Hakusho...Kurama & Hiei
Trigun...Vash, Wolfwood, & Milly
Saiyuki...Goku & Goyjo
-Long list...I narrowed it down, trust me

Movies
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust...D rocks!
Cowboy Bebop: Knocking at heaven's door (I think)
Inuyasha movies
Ghibli (Spirited Away, The Cat Returns, Nausicaa, and Princess Mononoke)
Escaflowne

Naruto is an excellent manga. It already has a huge following, and the manga has only really just gotten out (Shonen Jump has it, but they've cut/changed so much!).
Once, in a small Japanese village, a nine tailed fox demon terrorized the people of the village. Then 4th Hokage sealed the fox away in an orphan baby (Naruto). You'd think he'd be treated as a hero, not the case. He's scorned by the whole village. Naruto is now 12 years old and training to be a shinobi (ninja). His goal, to be the next Hokage so everyone has to acknowledge him.
Masashi Kishimoto is a big fan of Akira Toriyama (Dragonball Z), so you'll see some similiarities. But where Toriyama was mainly fighting, Kishimoto shows a lot of character development. The fight scenes can be a little hard to follow, but the plot is awesome. The art is very nice too (coming from someone who's very picky). No, it's not a knock off of Dragonball Z's art style. It has a lot of humor with seriousness woven in perfectly. I'm on chapter 257 and still loving it.
Naruto the anime has finally been licensed by the same people that dubbed Inuyasha or so I understand.

Also, if you guys have time (lots of it) I'd recommend you check out anime music videos. Anime Music Videos .Org People take music and put anime video clips to them (or vice versa). I'd recommend going to the top 50 list for the good ones.

I love Shonen Jump and Wolf's Rain is my favorite by far, Tsume is awesome. Inuyasha, Dragonball Z, Trigun, and Yu-Gi-Oh are pretty good too. And Shonen Jump kicks butt.
Your spirit can soar on the wings of imagination, your mind can play in the pages of a book, hunters roam in the night. As for me, i'm just crazy.

Inuyasha didn't appeal to me either. It has its cute parts. My friend is a nut over it. The movies are great though. I recommend seeing them. And I agree, the Inuyasha art style is ugly....

Lunar, Wolf's Rain is worth seeing. I'm more of an OVA/movie person too. But this is one of the series that lived up to all the hype.

Was Appleseed any good Troy? Have you watched Ghost In the Shell? I watched GITS2: Innocence the other day. The graphics are gorgeous!!! The plot is deep as usual. Ever look up the manga plot for Akira? The movie might as well be AU. And boy does it mess with you.
