Thanks for the info. I was looking at the brushes, just a minute ago and got to thinking I wonder if the terrain is lined up according to the recommended order in which you brush it on. For example, do the deep water, then the shallow, then the next one, then the next one, and so on?

I played the game for a few hours yesterday, the first scenario, the Zookeeper In Training one, long after I'd won it, for practice in getting used to the game before moving onto the harder stuff. It was so much fun. Everyone was happy! The guests were beside themselves  , the animals were gi...

Ok, I am starting to miss not having wolves in my zoo. I hope this gets taken care of pretty soon.

The opened/closed feature is pretty nifty too. I'm still having trouble with the brushes and terrain editor though :banghead:

Hmmm. Anyone know if it will be in Wal*Mart tomorrow? I am thinking about walking over there in the afternoon. Then I will also get some training in for the adventure race I'm doing in January. (friend who went said to train I'll need to work myself up to a 10-mile walk once a week and run three mi...

I agree with you, TerrierMom. It takes a while to get used to. I kinda miss the suitability ratings. And also I miss the zookeeper feedback, such as "Cheetah 1 needs more foliage to keep it happy," etc. I don't exactly get the foliage placement. Seems like you can put as much or as little...

Blah. I checked out the screenshots. Look at ZE013...if that little boy isn't naked, I'm blind. Why would I want a game with a naked child in it? The colors are icky. I prefer the natural colors in ZT. The same with the rocks, trees, and buildings. They look like escapees from Fisher Price land. I'...

[QUOTE=TerrierMom,Nov 14 2004, 08:04 AM] Or watching a beaver run through its food dish--hey my terriers do that at home, it's realistic![QUOTE]

I got a kick watching two of my chimps chase each other around a tree. They did this for like two minutes.

LOL, yes my zoos are looking like they were planned and built by a bunch of drunks as well. I am still trying to get the spacing down as well. I still have kind of a hard time judging distances between objects, buildings, etc.

Yeah, that's the way it looks. I couldn't find anything with beakers in the freeform game. But then I tried the challenge game and I saw what you were talking about. Thanks again.

You click on the little beaker attached to the object you want to research. There will be little icons of the objects you can use, say it's toys. The toys that need research have the beakers. Click on the icon, and a bigger one comes up. Click on the beaker, and the item will research. The item res...

Ok, has anyone figured out how to set the research and conservation in motion? I guess you can do this in ZT2. The manual that comes with the game mentions research a few different places but I haven't figured out how to make this work yet. Does anyone know how? Thanks.

Well, that's cool. Sounds like I got one of the good ones :) Though I have been having too much fun with the game to watch my DVD yet.

Best Buy has them. I got one today. The local store here had the chimpanzee pen and the tiger pen. I chose the chimp one, though if they had the koala I probably would have went that route. No biggie though, the pen is just an extra. I really wanted the game. :)) So now the DVD doesn't come with all...

Yeah, that's true. But I thought if you could DL them I'd beat the rush. :D
